Ze Frank
As a brilliant performance artist, humorist, designer and consultant, Ze Frank (pronounced “Zay”) explores the ways that technology shapes the human experience. He has become a staple at such annual technology events as Pop!Tech and the TED Conference. He’s had unparalleled success creating online community spaces and innovative content that get the audience to “act” and then “interact.” Over 50 million people have visited his web site, www.zefrank.com, which has won a Webby, was in Time magazine’s Top 50 Websites of 2005, and has been covered extensively in the media.
Ze spent two months in 2004 as Artist in Residence at MSN, helping them develop strategies for creating online community spaces. Other clients include Leap Productions, National Geographic, Absolut Vodka, Lotto and Bennington College. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Communications at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he teaches a course on The Creative Act in his inimitable style.
